KOREA OPEN – Top seeds withdraw

Mixed doubles top seeds Thomas Laybourn / Kamilla Rytter Juhl of Denmark will not start the Korea Open Premier Super Series.  The Danes, who were forced to withdraw after playing their first match at the Super Series Finals earlier this month, were removed from the draw before the start of play tomorrow.  They have been replaced by Chau/Wong of Hong Kong.
They are not the only Europeans to drop out as Adcock/Bankier also withdrew, creating a first round all-Taiwan battle between Lee/Chien and Fang/Wang, who were promoted from qualifying.
The other high profile withdrawal was another expected one as Singapore Open champion Sony Dwi Kuncoro has once again found he is not match-ready.
